The National Teaching Council (NTC) has announced that the registration portal for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) is now open for the September 2024 sitting.
Candidates who hold a minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree and wish to take the GTLE for the first time can register as new candidates.
Re-sitting candidates can also register to retake any or all of the subject-based papers.
Here are the registration fees:
• Fresh Candidates: GH₵450.00 for three papers and GH₵50.00 for indexing at https://indexing.ntc.gov.gh/
• Re-sitting Candidates:
* One paper: GH₵150.00
* Two papers: GH₵210.00
* Three papers: GH₵385.00
Payment Options:
• Bank: Payment can be made at any branch of Prudential Bank Ltd or GCB Bank PLC nationwide.
• Mobile Money: Payments can be made through the short code *772*51# for Prudential Bank Ltd or *422*151# for GCB Bank PLC.
Registration Process:
1. Visit the NTC exam portal: https://exams.ntc.gov.gh/
2. Enter your e-voucher Serial number and Pin (obtained after payment).
3. Fill in all the required fields.
4. Upload a passport-size photograph (less than 250kb) with a white background.
5. Print our timetable.
