The Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF) has announced the commencement of admissions into the various public Colleges of Education for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Prospective students seeking to enroll in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree programme are urged to complete their applications within the specified timeframe.

The deadline for submission of applications for the 2025/2026 academic year is Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their forms ahead of time to avoid last-minute inconveniences and to secure placement in their preferred college.
Admission Requirements
Admission into the Colleges of Education is subject to academic qualifications as outlined below;
WASSCE/SSSCE Eligibility
Applicants with WASSCE results must have credit passes (A1-C6) in six subjects:
Three core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies.
Three elective subjects relevant to their chosen program.
For SSSCE candidates, the credit requirement is A-D in the same subject structure.
GCE and TVET Qualifications
Candidates with GCE Advanced Level results must have at least three passes, with one at Grade D or higher, alongside credit passes in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English, Mathematics, and a Science or Social Science subject.
TVET
Applicants with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) must possess a Certificate II qualification in three relevant trade areas or a National Board for Professional and Technicians Examination (NABPTEX) qualification.
Facilities for Persons with Disabilities
Designated Colleges of Education have been assigned for applicants with disabilities to ensure accessibility and support:
Visually impaired applicants may apply to N.J. Ahmadiyya College of Education (Wa), Wesley College of Education (Kumasi), or Presbyterian College of Education (Akropong).
Hearing-impaired applicants may apply to Presbyterian College of Education (Akropong).
Application Process
Applicants must obtain an application voucher at a cost of GH₵350, available through:
- Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) branches.
- Mobile money platforms such as MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, and AirtelTigo Money.
Online Application Submission
Candidates must visit the official admission portal to complete the application form accurately.
Required documents, including a passport-sized photograph and relevant academic certificates, must be uploaded.
Applicants must print a copy of their completed application form and submit it via Express Mail Service (EMS) to their first-choice College of Education.
Admission Process
The various Colleges of Education will begin issuing admission notices to successful applicants after the application portal closes in August.
According to a 2024/2025 academic calendar released by PRINCOF, successful applicants are expected to commence their studies in September or October (2025), as the Colleges return to their pre-COVID academic calendar.
Successful applicants will receive their admission notices via SMS on the phone number used for the application.
